Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF) is seeking an Impact & Insights Officer to measure, understand and communicate the impact of MDIF's global investments across public interest information companies. You will transform data into clear narratives to support decision-making and demonstrate value to donors and stakeholders.

You will maintain MDIF's impact measurement framework, collect and visualize data, develop dashboards, and produce quarterly and annual reports for diverse audiences,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public policy, data science, statistics, economics, political science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in impact measurement, data analysis or monitoring & evaluation.
• Proficient with SQL and at least one BI or analytics tool (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience with analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics).
• Fluent in English; ability to translate data into clear insights.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and enhance MDIF's impact measurement framework and underlying data systems.
• Collect, analyse, and visualize data across a global portfolio; develop dashboards and reporting tools.
• Produce quarterly and annual impact reports for internal and external audiences.
• Standardize data collection processes and ensure data quality across teams and partners.
• Monitor sector trends and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Analyse communications and content performance; support storytelling through data.
• Contribute to fundraising by providing data-driven insights and impact narratives.
