MDIF Amplify seeks a Director to lead the next phase of Amplify, a global incubation and accelerator initiative supporting media entrepreneurs. This senior, hands-on role combines venture support with media innovation, guiding strategy and day-to-day delivery across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in venture support, startup incubation, accelerator leadership, or media innovation.
• At least 3-5 years in a senior management or leadership role with direct accountability for outcomes.
• Proven track record designing or running incubator/accelerator programs.
• Experience developing and managing distributed, multi-country teams.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills across cultures.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead the strategic design and evolution of Amplify’s incubation and accelerator model with MDIF leadership.
• Oversee end-to-end cohort management across regional cohorts including sourcing, selection, and programming.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to a distributed Amplify team.
• Guide portfolio companies toward investment readiness with the investment team.
• Build and maintain relationships with innovation hubs, media labs, and venture-support networks.
• Own global monitoring, evaluation, and donor reporting for the Amplify portfolio.
• Travel internationally to each program region at least annually, with flexible visa planning.
• Engage across EMEA, LATAM, or APAC regions in line with country requirements.
