WLG in Belgium is seeking a lead engineer who will own the technical quality of a portfolio of commercial applications while staying hands-on for 20–40% of time. You will coordinate deployment of server apps on Windows and Linux, and guide the team through modern stacks including .NET, Java or Python, with Kubernetes and cloud.

You will manage identities, cloud components across Azure and AWS, and contribute to AI integration while ensuring security baselines and governance.

Qualifications

5+ years in technical delivery with team leadership.
Hands-on leader who can unblock teams.
Experience with Windows and Linux server apps.
Strong background in .NET, Java or Python.
Experience with cloud (Azure/AWS) and containerization.
Familiarity with PKI, networking and identity integration.
English proficiency; French is a bonus.

Responsabilités

Coordinate, deploy and manage server applications on Windows and Linux.
Own the technical quality of the team's output and stay hands-on.
Configure cloud components across Azure and AWS.
Support the integration of AI capability into the commercial application portfolio.
Coordinate support activity against the service levels and resolve complex issues.
Run incident logging and tracking and escalate to vendors when needed.
Build the knowledge base and document fixes.
Implement security baselines and architecture patterns set by governance.
Support change, configuration, release and test management.
Work with product owners, delivery managers and suppliers to translate constraints into business language.
