TechWolf in Ghent, Belgium, seeks a Technical Team Lead to guide a skilled engineering team and deliver impactful software in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will mentor engineers, design scalable systems, and champion best practices while aligning with customers and product squads on timelines and requirements.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and fostering growth for your team.

Qualifications

4+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficient in software development methodologies.
Strong communication in collaborative environments.
Experience onboarding and managing people with performance management.
Based in Belgium and able to work from Ghent office at least 3 days/week.
Nice to have: deep AWS serverless Python microservices expertise.
Nice to have: system design experience for HRIS integrations (SAP/Workday).
Nice to have: AI-first ways of working.

Responsabilités

Mentor across levels: provide feedback, conduct code reviews, guide junior engineers.
Lead system design: own new software designs and optimise existing ones for performance and cost.
Champion best practices: promote high engineering standards and testing methodologies.
Shape strategic direction: contribute to roadmaps and risk assessments for timely delivery.
Collaborate cross-functionally: translate requirements with product teams into reliable solutions.
Grow your people: set growth goals and coach direct reports to reach potential.
