Atlas Copco Group is seeking an analytical Java developer to build and modernise applications driving global smart factories. You will join the Portable Air Application Development Team to design, develop, deploy, and support software solutions used worldwide.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and has proven experience in Java development. Strong fluency in Dutch and English along with an interest in cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure, is required.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement at our facility in Wilrijk, Belgium, promoting work-life balance and personal development.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in Java development with structured development lifecycles.
• Experience or strong interest in cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Prior exposure to manufacturing or supply chain is a major asset.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of the full application lifecycle, translating functional requirements into robust designs.
• Develop new features and modernise legacy systems.
• Deploy applications to virtual machines or Azure cloud environments.
