Job summary

Nelson Labs Europe is seeking an EH&S Manager to lead safety practices across the organization. The role focuses on developing, executing, and evaluating risk management policies to ensure regulatory compliance and employee well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or equivalent, Level 2 Prevention Advisor certification, and strong Dutch/English communication skills. Flexible office/home schedule with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Level 2 Prevention Advisor certification per Code du Bien-Etre / Codex welzijn op het werk.
• Strong EH&S expertise, especially chemical substances and pharmaceuticals.
• Excellent Dutch and English writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes HSE awareness at all management levels.
• Reviews activities and ensures compliance with local and state HSE policies.
• Develops and maintains safety protocols (SOPs; GxP).
• Evaluates hazardous conditions and implements safety training strategies.
• Organizes risk assessments and safety inspections.
• Coordinates emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Manages MSDS and waste, pest control and hygiene policies.
• Collaborates with environmental coordinator and external prevention services.
