Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking an EHS Specialist to champion safety across the Benelux region. You will lead EHS initiatives, support projects from design to commissioning, and ensure compliance with local and corporate guidelines.

This role offers autonomy, diverse activities, and tangible impact within a global team. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of EHS experience, fluency in Dutch and English, and strong knowledge of ISO 45001/VCA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar EHS role.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; French a plus.
• Experience with EHS management systems ISO 45001 and/or VCA.
• Autonomous, self-starter and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and drive a world-class EHS culture across Benelux.
• Lead implementation of EHS policies and legal requirements on the ground.
• Provide expert EHS support for water treatment projects and services.
• Lead safety events: risk assessments, safety walks, incidents investigations.
• Deliver targeted EHS training and manage the training program.
• Manage PPE programs and EHS reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch/Belgian EHS legislation and audits.
