Job summary

MSF Belgium in Brussels seeks an HVAC & Cold Chain Mobile Implementation Advisor to support the design, installation and operation of temperature-controlled environments across MSF projects. You will provide first-line and 2nd-line technical support, coordinate with the Energy & HVAC team, and ensure compliance with MSF standards.

The role requires English and French proficiency, technical HVAC expertise, and willingness to travel; a background with MSF or humanitarian settings is an asset.

Qualifications

• Technical HVAC education (refrigeration technician/engineer) is required.
• Minimum 2 years HVAC experience, with at least 1 year in a related role.
• Experience in coaching or training staff is an asset.
• MSF or international humanitarian experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line specialized support for HVAC and Cold Chain design and deployment.
• Evaluate setups and propose improvements; implement MSF protocols and tools.
• Develop and deliver HVAC/Cold Chain training to project staff.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and manage contracts for HVAC/Cold Chain equipment.
• Contribute to 2nd and 3rd line support tools and documentation.
