Job summary

MSF Belgium is seeking an HVAC & Cold Chain Mobile Implementation Advisor in Brussels. You will provide expert support for design, installation, and operation of HVAC and cold chain systems across MSF projects, ensuring safe, energy-efficient environments for medical activities.

The role requires strong English and French, plus experience in training staff and coordinating with external suppliers. It includes a fixed-term full-time contract with mobility and international travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Technical HVAC education (refrigeration technician/engineer) required.
• Minimum 2 years HVAC experience; 1 year in a related position.
• Experience coaching/training staff is an asset.
• MSF or international humanitarian org experience is an asset.
• Ability to design HVAC installations, maintenance, planning, and procurement; strong safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized 1st line support for HVAC and Cold Chain designs and operations.
• Support HVAC/Cold Chain evaluation and introduce improvements with MSF protocols.
• Develop competencies via content-based training for project focal points.
• Coordinate with external suppliers, maintenance contracts, and service providers.
• Deliver technical training and document lessons learned for 3rd line tools.
