Hilton Brussels Grand Place and Hotel Indigo Brussels City are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Brussels. The role starts in January 2027 with a structured handover period before taking ownership of daily HR activities for both hotels.

Qualifications

• Solid generalist HR experience, ideally in hospitality.
• Good understanding of Belgian labour and social legislation.
• Independent with high autonomy and pragmatic problem-solving.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a strong asset.
• Experience handling sensitive employee information and building relationships.
• Experience with Protime and/or Partena is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Act as trusted HR advisor for employees and managers across both hotels.
• Manage day-to-day HR follow-up: contracts, absences, onboarding, offboarding, and employee files.
• Coordinate with external payroll provider; oversee timely HR information transmission.
• Monitor time & attendance in Protime and follow up with managers.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing and retention through initiatives and floor presence.
• Coordinate training & development across hotels and promote learning opportunities.
• Manage occupational health matters and sickness follow-up with external partners.
• Prepare and participate in Works Council, CPPT and union meetings.
• Stay up to date with Belgian labour and social legislation and ensure compliance.
• Contribute to HR projects and reporting (training plans, mobility, collective agreements).

Are you looking for an exciting HR opportunity in the world of hospitality?

Hilton Brussels Grand Place and Hotel Indigo Brussels City are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Generalist to join our team.

If you enjoy being close to the business, supporting managers and employees, and managing a broad range of HR topics with a high level of autonomy, this could be the opportunity for you.

You will join us in January 2027, allowing for a structured handover period before progressively taking ownership of the day-to-day HR activities for both hotels.

While the initial focus of the role will be on Hilton Brussels Grand Place and Hotel Indigo Brussels City, the scope of the position is intended to evolve over time across other hotels within the Pandox portfolio.

Your responsibilities?

• Act as a trusted HR advisor for employees, Heads of Department and General Managers across both hotels.
• Manage the day-to-day HR follow-up, including contracts, amendments, absences, renewals, onboarding, offboarding and employee files.
• Work closely with Partena, our external payroll provider. Payroll is fully outsourced, while you ensure the accurate and timely transmission of HR information and follow up on payroll-related questions when needed.
• Monitor time & attendance in Protime, ensuring proper follow-up with managers.
• Support employee engagement, well-being and retention through internal initiatives and regular presence on the floor.
• Coordinate training and development: identify needs, organise training sessions and promote learning opportunities across the hotels.
• Manage occupational health matters and long-term sickness follow-up, in collaboration with the relevant external partners.
• Prepare and participate in Works Council, CPPT and Trade Union Delegation meetings.
• Stay up to date with Belgian labour and social legislation and ensure its correct application.
• Contribute to various HR projects and reporting, including training plans, mobility plans, collective labour agreements and other HR initiatives.

Your ideal profile?

• You have solid experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within hospitality or another operational environment.
• You have a good understanding of Belgian labour and social legislation.
• You are comfortable managing HR matters independently and with a high level of autonomy.
• You are organised, pragmatic and solution-oriented.
• You are confident handling sensitive employee situations and confidential information.
• Experience with Protime and/or Partena is a strong asset.
• You are fluent in French and English. Dutch is a strong asset.
• You are approachable, hands-on and able to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

• A permanent full-time contract, starting in January 2027.
• An attractive remuneration package with a gross annual salary between €51,000 and €58,000, depending on experience, together with an end-of-year bonus, CCT 90 bonus, meal vouchers,eco vouchers and hospitalisation insurance, as well as a laptop, mobile phone and subscription.
