EY Belgium is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join a large HR team and act as the link between people and the business. You will be part of the HRBP team, shaping the future with confidence and delivering a broad HR scope.

You will work in a dynamic, multinational environment with flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for growth and learning. The role emphasizes talent management, employee lifecycle, and strategic HR initiatives across the service line.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as HR Business Consultant/Partner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch, English and French.
• Solution-oriented, hands-on and flexible; able to handle operational tasks.
• A team player who likes to share knowledge with colleagues.
• Good knowledge of Belgian social law.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to proactively organize work.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with payroll officer and recruiters dedicated to the service line.
• Understand current and future business needs and translate into HR actions.
• Manage full employee lifecycle from onboarding to departure; oversee performance, coaching, wellbeing, compensation & benefits review.
• Respect existing policies while implementing best practices and HR improvements.
• Act as HR contact person for employees and service line leadership.
• Help leaders have difficult conversations, develop employees, and manage underperformance.
• Lead talent strategies to attract, develop and retain a diverse workforce.
• Co-determine HR strategy for the service line and drive HR projects like engagement and feedback programs.

Your Key Responsibilities as an HRBP

As an HR Business Partner you play a crucial role in our HR team:

• You will be working in team with the payroll officer and the recruiters dedicated to your Service Line.
• You understand the current and future needs of your business.
• You will be in close contact with the employees of this service line and are in charge of the follow-up of their full career cycle: from onboarding to leaving, performance management, coaching, wellbeing, compensation & benefits review. You will find adequate solutions for all questions & problems.
• Existing policies need to be respected, and as there is always room for improvement you can work on the implementation of 'best practices'.
• You will have a key role being the HR Contact Person for employees as well as for the leadership of your service line.
• You will improve leaders’ ability to have difficult conversations, develop employees, and manage underperformance.
• You will execute talent strategies focused on attracting, developing and retaining a strong, diverse group of people.
• You co-determine the HR strategy for your service line, leading to the implementation of a wide range of HR projects (e.g.: engagement, retention, feedback culture, people pulse survey, upward feedback, etc.).

Your Profile

You have/are:

• 4+ years of experience as HR Business Consultant/Partner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch, English and French.
• Solution-oriented, hands-on and flexible, operational tasks are no problem for you.
• A team player who likes to share knowledge with the colleagues.
• A good knowledge of Belgian social law.
• Good stakeholder management skills and you can proactively organize your work.
