Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Connectivity Specialist to lead the deployment of connected medical devices in hospitals across the Benelux region, with frequent travel to customer sites in the Netherlands. The role partners with hospital IT teams, account managers, and clinical staff to design and implement connectivity solutions that improve clinical workflows and patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and supporting medical device connectivity solutions in hospital environments.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 v2.x (ADT, ORM, ORU) and healthcare interoperability workflows.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networks, VLANs, firewalls, and secure hospital IT infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Lead Connectivity Implementations.
• Manage the local deployment of connected medical devices in hospitals, in line with regional connectivity strategy.
• Partner with hospital IT teams and stakeholders to develop and execute successful implementation plans.
• Identify decision-makers and influencers involved in connectivity initiatives and help advance Baxter's intelligent healthcare solutions.
• Train end users and provide Level 1 post-go-live support, including incident management and escalation.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Sales Managers, and Connectivity Implementation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Support Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Activities.
• Participate in consultative discussions with healthcare providers to design connectivity solutions that support their clinical workflows.
