Jobgether is seeking a Headless CMS Solutions Architect based in Belgium to lead discovery, tailor scalable CMS architectures, and guide enterprise content platforms. You will evaluate Storyblok, Sanity, Contentful, and Strapi, and design migration strategies from legacy systems.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience with headless CMS and composable digital-platform architectures.

• Strong understanding of AWS and cloud-based architecture.

Responsabilités

• Lead client discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and consulting engagements to understand business, editorial, technical, integration, security, and content requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document current-state requirements and translate them into scalable future-state digital platform architectures.
• Evaluate headless CMS platforms and objectively recommend solutions based on client needs, technical constraints, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Design scalable content models, schemas, reusable components, taxonomies, metadata structures, and composable content architectures.
• Define editorial workflows, approval processes, role-based permissions, localization strategies, and publishing processes.
• Design integrations between CMS platforms and enterprise applications, services, APIs, and other digital systems.
• Develop architectures for multilingual content, accessibility, technical SEO, search, content governance, and modern web standards.
• Design CMS migration strategies for legacy platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, Sitecore, and custom-built systems.
• Assess how headless CMS solutions should integrate with AWS-based applications and infrastructure, including services such as S3, CloudFront, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Cognito, IAM, Route 53, WAF, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, and EventBridge.
• Collaborate closely with front-end, cloud, DevOps, security, UX, and development teams to ensure architectural decisions can be implemented effectively.
• Produce architecture diagrams, technology recommendations, implementation roadmaps, technical documentation, and other solution-design materials.
• Present architectural recommendations clearly to executives, business stakeholders, content teams, IT departments, and developers.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential scalability challenges throughout discovery and solution design.
• Challenge requirements constructively when simpler, more scalable, or more maintainable approaches are appropriate.
• Support implementation planning and ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and technical realities.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Headless CMS Solutions Architect based in Belgium.

This is a senior, client-facing opportunity focused on designing modern, scalable digital content platforms using headless and composable CMS technologies.
You will lead discovery engagements, translate business and editorial needs into technical solutions, and guide clients through technology evaluation and architecture decisions.
The role combines content strategy, cloud architecture, systems integration, development considerations, security, and enterprise digital transformation.
You will work across platforms including Storyblok, Sanity, Contentful, and Strapi, objectively assessing their capabilities against specific client requirements.
The position also requires a strong understanding of AWS environments and how CMS platforms integrate with cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate architectural recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
This role is well suited to an experienced architect or consultant who enjoys solving complex digital-content challenges and shaping practical implementation roadmaps.

Accountabilities

Requirements:

• Significant professional experience working with headless CMS and composable digital-platform architectures.
• Strong hands‑on experience with at least two of Storyblok, Sanity, Contentful, or Strapi, with familiarity across the broader platform landscape preferred.
• Practical experience with Storyblok features such as Visual Editor, components, workflows, localization, roles and permissions, Content Delivery API, and Management API.
• Practical experience with Sanity, including Sanity Studio, structured content, schemas, GROQ, Content Lake, custom editorial experiences, and integrations.
• Practical experience with Contentful, including content models, localization, environments, permissions, workflows, Content Delivery API, and Content Management API.
• Practical experience with Strapi, including Content Type Builder, components, Dynamic Zones, REST and GraphQL APIs, permissions, plugins, and cloud or self‑hosted deployments.
• Experience leading CMS or digital‑platform discovery and recommending enterprise content‑management solutions.
• Strong understanding of AWS and cloud‑based architecture, with the ability to design solutions and collaborate effectively with cloud and DevOps specialists.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, API integrations, structured content, and composable architecture.
• Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern front‑end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Nuxt.
• Experience designing enterprise systems integrations and CMS migration strategies.
• Strong understanding of content governance, multilingual and localized content, role‑based permissions, editorial workflows, technical SEO, accessibility, and modern web standards.
• Experience producing architecture diagrams, technical documentation, implementation roadmaps, and technology recommendations.
• Strong consulting, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for different audiences.
• Comfortable working with executives, business stakeholders, content teams, IT departments, developers, and other technical specialists.
• Ability to evaluate technologies objectively, identify risks and dependencies, and communicate architectural trade‑offs clearly.
• Experience with enterprise search, Digital Asset Management, CRM, LMS, marketing automation, analytics, or identity platforms is an asset.
• Additional experience with AWS Solutions Architect certification, CMS certifications, Next.js/React, Node.js, Terraform or Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, DevOps, AWS OpenSearch, Digital Asset Management platforms, CRM, marketing automation, or Learning Management Systems is considered a plus.
