Stark Recruitment is partnering with a Belgian group to recruit an Enterprise Solution Architect who will define and govern the future technology landscape across mobility and energy platforms.

You will lead a focused architecture team of two specialists covering applied AI and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), translating business priorities into pragmatic architectural decisions while ensuring security and compliance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Solution/Enterprise Architecture or tech leadership
• Experience with complex enterprise landscapes, integration, tech transformation
• Cloud environments knowledge (Azure/AWS) and debt reduction
• Strong data architecture, governance, AI, automation, and security/compliance
• Experience leading architects/technical teams
• Exposure to growth, mergers or acquisitions environments
• Fluent in English and either Dutch or French

Our partner is a growing Belgian group developing technology-driven solutions across mobility and energy.

As its different platforms, products and services continue to grow and become increasingly integrated, technology plays a central role in supporting scalability, operational excellence and compliance. The organisation is therefore looking for an Enterprise Solution Architect to define and govern its future technology landscape.

In this role, you will ensure that applications, platforms, integrations, data flows, security and infrastructure evolve as one coherent and sustainable ecosystem. This is not a purely theoretical architecture position: you will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, translating business and technology priorities into pragmatic architectural decisions.

You will also lead a focused architecture team of two specialists covering AI architecture and cloud infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise and target architecture across the organisation’s platforms, products and services, establishing clear architectural standards, principles and technology roadmaps.
• Govern solution architecture across strategic initiatives, reviewing designs, defining reusable patterns and ensuring consistency across applications, integrations, data and security.
• Identify technical debt, legacy components and unnecessary complexity, and drive simplification, standardisation and remediation initiatives.
• Design an architecture capable of supporting continued growth, new business models and the integration of future acquisitions.
• Own architecture‑related security and compliance activities, including security reviews, risk and remediation follow‑up and frameworks such as NIS2, GDPR and ISO 27001.
• Lead and coach a two‑person architecture team covering applied AI and AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure, setting priorities and acting as an escalation point for key architectural decisions.
• Own enterprise data and integration architecture, including data governance, API and integration standards, while establishing architectural guidelines for AI and automation initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to management and senior stakeholders, translating complex technical topics into business language and creating alignment around long‑term technology decisions.

Your Profile

• You bring at least 10 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or a related technology leadership role.
• You have strong experience with complex enterprise application landscapes, integrations and technology transformation, including ERP, CRM and customer platforms.
• You have a deep understanding of cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure and AWS, and experience reducing technical debt and simplifying technology landscapes.
• You have strong knowledge of data architecture and governance, AI and automation, as well as security architecture and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR and/or NIS2, including the operational follow‑up of security activities.
• You have experience leading or coordinating architects, technical experts or multidisciplinary technology teams.
• You have worked in fast‑growing or transformation environments, with exposure to mergers, acquisitions or organisational integration.
• You combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach, can influence senior stakeholders
• You are fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
