Sopra Steria is seeking a Head of Managed Services in Belgium to lead and evolve a key service line within Digital Platform Services. You will own the service line's performance, translate strategy into actionable programs, and drive delivery with a multi-disciplinary team across nearshore and offshore partners.

You will manage budget, forecast and governance, ensuring security, compliance and ongoing transformation while building a high-performing, value-driven organization.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced Managed Services leader who combines operational excellence with commercial drive, strong people leadership, and a clear sense of ownership? We are looking for a Head of Managed Services to lead and further develop a key service line within Digital Platform Services in Belgium. This is a role for someone who does not stop at defining direction: you take ownership, translate strategy into concrete tactical initiatives, and drive those initiatives through to implementation and measurable results.

You will take end-to-end responsibility for the operational stability, financial performance, service delivery, human resources (50FTE), compliance, capability development, and drive the continued evolution and transformation of our Managed Services offering.

You will work closely with your operations managers, service delivery managers, presales team, architects, supporting functions and leadership team, as well as DPS entities across the Group and our xShore organizations, to optimize our delivery model and leverage the strengths of our wider organization . Together, you will ensure our services are scalable, profitable, secure, compliant, and ready for future growth.

You will:

• Take clear ownership of the service line and its performance, priorities, and evolution.
• Translate strategic objectives into concrete tactical roadmaps, initiatives, priorities, and actions .
• Drive implementation across teams, follow up on progress, remove obstacles, and ensure initiatives deliver the intended business and operational outcomes.
• Own the financial performance of the service line, including budget, forecast, gross margin, and corrective actions.
• Lead a team of people managers, service delivery managers and technical professionals, building an engaged and high-performing organization.
• Ensure operational stability and act as a senior escalation point when service delivery is at risk.
• Drive capacity, competence, recruitment, certification, and succession planning.
• Support strategic bids and take ownership of Managed Services commitments, transition estimates, and run pricing.
• Drive standardization, automation, industrialization, and continuous improvement across Managed Services.
• Strengthen collaboration with nearshore and offshore delivery teams and further develop hybrid delivery models.
• Own service-line governance, risk management, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Ensure Managed Services processes and controls support relevant regulatory and security requirements, including ISO 27001, NIS2 and DORA , while preparing for emerging frameworks such as CADA .
• Work closely with security, risk and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical operational controls and customer services.
• Track performance through clear KPIs and a balanced scorecard.
• Contribute to the evolution of our capabilities in digital sovereignty, sovereign cloud, AI operations and AI-enabled service management .

What you bring

You have significant leadership experience in Managed Services, IT outsourcing, cloud, infrastructure, workplace, application operations, or a similar IT services environment .

You combine:

• Strong people leadership, ownership and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid financial and commercial acumen.
• The ability to translate strategy into execution and drive outcomes across teams.
• A strong understanding of IT governance, cybersecurity, risk and regulatory compliance.
• A forward-looking mindset around digital sovereignty, sovereign cloud, automation and AI-enabled operations.
• Professional fluency in Dutch, French and English .
• A higher education degree in IT, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience within an IT integrator or Managed Service Provider , as well as working with nearshore/offshore delivery models, is a strong advantage.
