Deutsche Bank Belgium is seeking a senior leader to head Global Corporate Coverage in Belgium. You will define growth priorities, manage senior relationships with large corporate clients, and connect client needs with cash management, trade finance, lending, liquidity and FX solutions.

You will lead the Belgium coverage team, set priorities, and foster collaboration across an international matrix organisation while ensuring strong governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership or head of coverage experience.
• Strong client relationship skills with corporate clients.
• Deep knowledge of cash management, trade finance, lending and liquidity solutions.
• Excellent communication in English; additional French/Dutch is advantageous.

Responsibilities

As Head of Global Corporate Coverage Belgium, you are responsible for:

• Define and deliver the Belgian coverage and client strategy, identifying growth priorities and representing the franchise internally and externally.
• Lead senior relationships with key corporate clients and prospects, originate new business and connect client needs with cash management, trade finance, lending, liquidity, foreign exchange and rates solutions.
• Own financial and non-financial objectives, the client portfolio and revenue pipeline, while guiding complex opportunities from origination through approval, execution and ongoing service.
• Lead and develop the Belgian coverage team, set clear priorities and foster an inclusive culture built on collaboration, accountability and open dialogue.
• Maintain effective governance and controls, identify and elevate business, conduct, operational and reputational risks, and work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Anti-Financial Crime teams.

Skills

• Strong corporate banking or global corporate coverage expertise, with a track record of building senior client relationships and originating significant business.
• Broad knowledge of corporate cash management, trade finance, lending, liquidity, foreign exchange and interest-rate solutions, supported by sound commercial and risk judgement.
• Proven leadership skills, including setting strategy, developing teams and influencing senior stakeholders across an international matrix organisation.
• Excellent knowledge of the Belgian corporate market and strong communication skills in English plus French and/or Dutch; fluency in both French and Dutch is an advantage.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
