Job summary

Deutsche Bank Brussels is seeking an experienced Head of Global Corporate Coverage Belgium to define and deliver the Belgian client strategy, lead senior client relationships, and connect client needs with cash management, trade finance, lending, liquidity and rates solutions.

You will own the client portfolio, guide opportunities end-to-end, and lead a Belgian coverage team while ensuring strong governance and risk controls in collaboration with Risk, Compliance, Legal and AFC teams.

Qualifications

• Strong corporate banking or global corporate coverage expertise.
• Broad knowledge of corporate cash management, trade finance, lending, liquidity, foreign exchange and rates solutions.
• Proven leadership skills, including setting strategy and developing teams.
• Excellent knowledge of the Belgian corporate market and strong communication skills in English plus French and/or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the Belgian coverage and client strategy, identifying growth priorities and representing the franchise internally and externally.
• Lead senior relationships with key corporate clients and prospects, originate new business and connect client needs with cash management, trade finance, lending, liquidity, foreign exchange and rates solutions.
• Own financial and non-financial objectives, the client portfolio and revenue pipeline, while guiding complex opportunities from origination through approval, execution and ongoing service.
• Lead and develop the Belgian coverage team, set clear priorities and foster an inclusive culture built on collaboration, accountability and open dialogue.
• Maintain effective governance and controls, identify and elevate business, conduct, operational and reputational risks, and work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Anti-Financial Crime teams.
