For a large, internationally active company in the global fashion footwear & apparel industry, Schelstraete Delacourt is looking for a Head of E-Commerce.
The Head of E-Commerce focuses on further developing the marketplaces channel and strengthening the organisation's position as a direct-to-consumer player. Operating at group level, the role is designed to build and structure the e-commerce business across the company's different business units.
The Head of E-Commerce is responsible for:
- Define and lead the overall e-commerce strategy, with a strong focus on marketplaces, ensuring alignment with broader commercial and brand objectives.
- Spearhead commercial plans & growth initiatives related to online sales, traffic generation, new customer acquisition, and onsite experience to meet revenue goals.
- Develop and implement the product strategy for e-commerce channels, considering market trends, competitive analysis, and evolving customer needs.
Customer experience & channel management
- Develop, implement, track, and optimize omni-channel customer experiences that strengthen brand loyalty, improve customer retention, and increase sales.
- Collaborate with distribution partners, especially marketplaces, to support the implementation of their digital initiatives.
Team leadership
- Lead and develop a dedicated e-commerce team.
- Report directly to the company's leadership, with regular interaction with other executives, especially the Business Unit Directors.
- Analyze online sales and customer behavior to identify performance trends and implement data-driven improvements.
- Monitor competitors and market trends to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Profile:
- You hold a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- You have proven experience in e-commerce within Consumer Goods.
- You are able to develop and implement an e-commerce strategy at international level.
- You combine strong analytical and commercial skills with a hands-on, can-do mentality.
- You communicate fluently in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
- Familiarity with the fashion industry is an asset.
- You have a results-driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
