MEGA’s IT department builds and evolves the ecosystem platforms behind our energy and telecom business lines. As the team grows and our delivery becomes AI-augmented, we are creating a Head of Development role: the technical reference who sets the direction, raises the bar on delivery and quality, and makes our estimates and technical decisions rigorous and defensible.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in software engineering with leadership experience.
• Proven track record setting technical direction and elevating delivery quality.
• Experience in energy/utilities or telecom is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define and own the Technical North Star—architecture principles, standards, tooling and AI-augmented ways of working.
• Be the technical decision-maker and arbiter, resolving architecture trade-offs and setting direction.
• Challenge and validate estimates with rigour and objectivity.
• Raise delivery performance and quality through clear objectives, KPIs and CI/CD discipline.
• Coach and grow the team—mentoring engineers, providing feedback and career development.
• Recruit and structure the team around full-stack developers with frontend and DevOps references.
• Stay hands-on in code and architecture to earn team trust.
• Champion AI-augmented development and establish guardrails and governance.
