Harvey Nash is seeking an Enterprise AI Transformation Lead for a leading financial services organization in Belgium. You will drive AI integration across the SDLC, assess current engineering practices, and define a long-term transformation roadmap with cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with engineering leaders, architects, Agile coaches, product managers, and developers to embed AI, automation, and modern engineering methods, measuring success by productivity, quality, and delivery

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software delivery and engineering leadership.
• Experience leading engineering transformation or change management initiatives.
• Experience in complex enterprise software environments.
• Experience collaborating with multiple engineering teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead the AI-driven transformation of software engineering across the SDLC.
• Analyze current SDLC to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap combining AI, automation, and process re-engineering to improve efficiency and quality.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering approaches like Specification-Driven Development and AI-assisted development.
• Scale AI initiatives from pilots to enterprise-wide standards.
• Collaborate with Tribe Leads, Engineering Managers, Architects, Agile Coaches, PMs, BAs, Developers, QA Engineers, and Operations teams.
• Adapt transformation initiatives to different teams’ maturity and business context.
• Promote AI across the full software lifecycle: Product Management, Business Analysis, Development, QA & Test, DevOps.
• Organize workshops, hackathons, and knowledge-sharing sessions to encourage AI adoption.
• Define success metrics focused on productivity, quality, speed, and business value.

Enterprise AI Transformation Lead (Software Engineering)

Job Summary

We are hiring an Enterprise AI Transformation Lead for a leading organization in the financial services industry.

In this strategic role, you will lead the transformation of software engineering practices by embedding Artificial Intelligence across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will assess existing engineering processes, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive the adoption of AI, automation, and modern engineering methodologies to improve software delivery, quality, and developer productivity.

Working closely with engineering leaders, architects, Agile Coaches, and cross-functional teams, you will define and execute a long-term AI transformation roadmap while ensuring solutions are adapted to the maturity and needs of different engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organization's AI-driven transformation of software engineering practices across the entire SDLC.
• Analyze current ("As-Is") software development processes to identify bottlenecks, manual effort, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap that combines AI, automation, and process re-engineering to improve engineering efficiency and delivery quality.
• Drive the adoption of modern engineering approaches, including Specification-Driven Development, Agentic AI, and AI-assisted software development practices.
• Scale successful AI initiatives from pilot projects into enterprise-wide engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Tribe Leads, Engineering Managers, Architects, Agile Coaches, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA Engineers, and Operations teams.
• Adapt transformation initiatives to the specific technical maturity, legacy constraints, and business context of different engineering teams.
• Promote AI adoption across the complete software lifecycle, including:
• Product Management

• DevOps & Operations
• Monitor emerging AI technologies and software engineering trends, evaluating their relevance and business value.

• Define success metrics focused on engineering productivity, software quality, delivery speed, and business value.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience in software delivery, including roles such as:
• Software Engineer
• Business Analyst
• Technical Product Manager
• Engineering Lead
• Experience leading engineering transformation, Agile transformation, or change management initiatives.
• Strong experience analyzing and improving software engineering processes.
• Experience working within complex enterprise software environments.
