Job summary

Ageas Corporate Centre in Brussels seeks an experienced Finance Leader to manage the Accounting & Closing function and regulatory reporting. You will lead a 5-person team, drive process improvements, and ensure IFRS17 and IFRS9 know‑how is applied across entities, while maintaining Belgian GAAP compliance.

You will partner with Consolidation, Treasury, Tax and HR to provide financial insights and robust reporting, with up to 50% home working in agreement with your line manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• 7+ years of relevant experience; Big Four experience a plus.
• Experience managing a small team.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP and IFRS (IFRS17, IFRS9).
• ERP exposure with Oracle Netsuite, SAP or Onestream.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
• Ensure timely and qualitative financial reporting for local and group purposes (IFRS/BGAAP).
• Lead and develop a team of about 5 accounting professionals.
• Drive automation and digitalization of accounting processes.
• Support regulatory reporting and internal controls standards.
