Job summary

Movify is seeking a Head of AI to drive growth of its dedicated AI practice and lead client engagements across industries. You will start by hiring an AI Engineering Lead, then build a high-performing team and scale the practice with refined offerings and GTM strategies.

You will advise C-level leaders on AI strategy, run discovery phases, and shape executive workshops to prioritise high-impact AI initiatives. Fluency in Dutch or French and strong English are expected.

Job description

For 13+ years, Movify has been building digital products for large organisations across industries. AI is already part of how we deliver, from fraud detection and KYC automation to agentic workflows. Demand is growing faster than our current setup, so we’re creating a dedicated AI practice and looking for the partner who will lead it.

What you’ll be doing

Your focus is clear: grow our AI business and be hands-on in client engagements. The team, the offering and our market presence will grow from there.

As Head of AI

• You will drive business growth for the practice: lead sales, shape proposals, and own key client relationships and commercial targets
• Build and lead a high-performing AI team: starting with your first key hire, an AI Engineering Lead who will own the technical side under your leadership. Then grow the team and its career paths
• Build and scale our AI practice: refine the service offering, positioning and go-to-market, building on Movify’s strengths in digital products, UX and engineering
• Develop strategic partnerships with technology vendors and cloud ecosystems
• Be Movify’s AI voice in the market: speak at events, host roundtables, publish insights and position Movify as a reference for pragmatic, responsible AI
• Grow AI maturity across Movify: run the AI community, set standards and best practices, and mentor consultants moving into AI-centric roles

As a senior advisor to our clients

• Advise C-level and senior stakeholders on their AI strategy, from vision and opportunity mapping to prioritisation and investment decisions
• Lead discovery phases and executive workshops to align stakeholders around AI-driven solutions
• Frame high-impact AI initiatives, assess feasibility and value, and steer their delivery with business, product, data and engineering teams
• Help organisations put AI governance in place: responsible AI, risk management, explainability and EU AI Act readiness
• Drive AI adoption and transformation for clients, embedding AI in their ways of working, tools and culture
• 10+ years in AI, data or digital product roles working with large corporates, in-house or as a consultant, including leading a team, a practice or large-scale AI initiatives
• A proven track record of selling, shaping and delivering AI programmes that created measurable business value
• Deep understanding of AI technologies (ML, GenAI, agentic AI), the tooling and the major cloud ecosystems, with enough hands‑on background to be credible with technical teams
• Credibility with executives: you can shape a vision, challenge a roadmap and translate complex AI topics into business decisions
• Experience building and leading teams, and attracting top talent
• Strong product thinking and a user‑centric mindset
• An entrepreneurial spirit: you’ve built something from the ground up, or you’re eager to
• A plus: a good understanding of how consulting businesses work (staffing, utilisation, pricing, margins)
• Excellent communication, storytelling and facilitation skills
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with professional command of English
