About the role
You will join one of the development teams responsible for developing electronic hardware.
As a member of a strong hardware engineering team that applies state-of-the-art best practices in hardware engineering, you will contribute to the specification, design, prototyping and debugging of hardware products.
Responsibilities
- The team develops frame grabbers – circuits for high-speed data acquisition – using 100G CoaXPress, 100G Ethernet, (LP)DDR4-5 and PCIe Gen4-5-6 technologies.
- You will be involved in all aspects of hardware design, from the initial design phases through to production readiness, including component selection, electrical calculations, the creation of circuit diagrams, the preparation of layout specifications, signal integrity simulations, power integrity simulations, layout design and verification, laboratory measurements, and prototype troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- A Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
Required skills
- At least 8 years’ experience in the design of electronic circuit boards, with a focus on the following areas: high-speed digital interfaces (PCIe Gen4–5, (LP)DDR4–5, 12G-SDI, 100G Ethernet, etc.); FPGAs; power supplies; EMC.
- Expertise in the design and simulation of signal integrity and power integrity (using Siemens Hyperlynx or an equivalent tool).
- Design and simulation of analogue circuits (SPICE).
- Experience with Altium Designer or an equivalent tool for schematic and layout design.
- Extensive experience with laboratory measurements and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
- Experience in the field of mechanics (enclosures and thermal aspects) is an advantage.
- A highly organised approach to document management and the preparation of design documentation.
- Experience with a PLM system is an advantage.
- Very good command of French (B2 or higher) and English (B2 or higher). German is an advantage.
