IBA Worldwide in Louvain-la-Neuve is seeking a Hardware Expert - Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop electromechanical modules for the RadioPharma Solution division, covering full lifecycle development from concept to validation.

The ideal candidate holds a Master in Engineering (Industry, Mechanics or Electromechanics) with 2–5 years of industrial experience and hands-on NX, TeamCenter and Ansys expertise. Proficiency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Engineering (Industry, Mechanics or Electromechanics).
• 2–5 years industrial experience.
• Experience with NX, TeamCenter, and Ansys.
• French and English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Participate in technical meetings with experts and project manager.
• Analyze, calculate, and evaluate hardware feasibility according to specifications.
• Design and test the selected solution for a new product/process or to optimize an existing product/process.
• Transfer engineering documentation necessary for the manufacture of products, up to assembly or subcontracting and process of development.
• Document the hardware implementation.
• Apply hardware development methodologies, frameworks, processes, and standards.
• Support to internal and external customers.

Mission

Within a team of engineers, your mission will be to design and/or develop products/systems, subsystems along with the full lifecycle development (processes, procedures, or specifications) based on project and customer specifications.

Your mission will be the design of chemistry modules (electromechanical devices) for the RadioPharma Solution division.

• Participate to technical meeting together with technical experts and project manager
• Analyze, calculate, and evaluate the feasibility of the hardware solution according to specifications (technical, quality, etc.)
• Design and test the selected solution for a new product/process or to optimize an existing product/process
• Transfer engineering documentation necessary for the manufacture of products, up to assembly or subcontracting and process of development
• Document the hardware implementation
• Apply hardware development methodologies, frameworks, processes, and standards
• Support to internal and external customers

What we value

• A Master degree in (Engineering) Industry, Mechanics or Electromechanics
• An industrial experience (2-5 years)
• Preferably with a hand-on experience on accelerator technology
• Experience with CAO tool (NX from Siemens) and PLMtool (TeamCenter)/ Ansys
• Experience in R&D with hardware development expertise
• Good communication skills in French and English
