Hotel Le Plaza in Brussels is seeking an energetic Events Sales Manager to plan and execute corporate and social events, from initial inquiry to on-site delivery. You will coordinate pricing strategies, proposals, contracts, and workload distribution within the Groups & Events team to maximize conversion and revenue.

Candidate Profile

• Excellent knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
• Proven experience of at least 2 years in event organization and team management within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the seamless planning and execution of events: manage every stage from initial enquiry and handling of all incoming requests, through to proposal development and flawless on‑site delivery. Responsible for applying appropriate pricing strategies in line with commercial objectives and distribute and allocate incoming enquiries within the team to ensure optimal workload management and conversion rates. Prepare, review and follow up on quotations and proposals, actively driving client engagement and conversion. Prepare, verify and issue of contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely execution throughout the entire sales and events process.
• Lead on‑site hotel tours and site inspections with clients
• Lead, motivate and monitor the performance of the Groups & Events team to achieve departmental objectives. Ensure clear delegation of tasks and responsibilities.
• Ensure accurate pricing strategies and monitor performance against budget and revenue targets.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration between all departments involved in event delivery.
• Work closely with the Sales department to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure a seamless conversion of leads into confirmed business.
• Conduct weekly meetings with the Sales team to review business performance, forecasted revenue, pipeline activity, conversion rates and ongoing enquiries.
• Actively identify market opportunities and contribute to the development of sales and business growth strategies.
• Drive a proactive sales approach within the team, identifying opportunities to maximize revenue from existing clients through upselling, cross‑selling and repeat business.
• Oversee the onboarding, training and performance of interns.
