Job summary

Boortmalt is seeking a Group Sustainability Manager to own the data, methodology and insights behind its climate and environmental commitments. You will report to the CSO and collaborate with teams from farms to production plants, turning complex data into clear performance signals.

This hands-on role leads GHG inventories (Scopes 1-3 including FLAG), LSRS transition, and product footprints, while ensuring robust governance, external reporting, and continuous improvement across a 25-plant global

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, environmental science, agronomy or related quantitative field.
• Typically 3–5 years' experience building corporate GHG inventories under the GHG Protocol.
• Advanced Excel or database skills with large datasets.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the corporate GHG inventory (Scopes 1-3) and LSRS transition.
• Define emission factors, boundaries, baselines, and recalculation rules.
• Maintain data architecture for energy, GHG, water, and waste.
• Build dashboards and insights for leadership.
• Provide assurance evidence and audit trails for environmental metrics.
• Calculate product carbon footprints and support low-carbon claims.
• Lead water risk assessment across sites using WRI Aqueduct.
• Take on new projects and KPIs as requirements evolve.
