Lotus Bakeries in Belgium is seeking an Application Project Manager to lead our co-manufacturers' quality systems. You will drive FSQMS implementation, organise audits, manage risks and foster long-term supplier excellence.

You will monitor key KPIs, collaborate with Global Brand, R&D and Procurement, and support partners with training while ensuring documentation and certifications are current. Travel about 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Food Technology or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with food safety, HACCP and quality systems.
• Analytical thinker with project management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to partner sites.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

Description du poste

In this role, you take the lead in ensuring that your designated co-manufacturers and co-packers across our group meet the highest standards in food safety, quality and regulatory compliance. You assess and improve their systems, organise audits, manage risks, and build strong relationships that support long-term excellence.

• You take the lead in implementing and continuously improving the FSQMS for coman/copack, ensuring compliance with both internal standards and external regulations.
• You organise supplier audits, assess risks and turn findings into targeted actions that strengthen supplier performance.
• By monitoring KPI’s such as complaints, audit results and out-of-spec trends, you help drive continuous improvement across the supply base.
• Together with Global brand, Group R&D, Group procurement, Group FSQA and co-man/ co-pack partners, you work towards aligned quality expectations and smooth integration of new developments.
• Together with Group procurement and Group R&D, you asses new partners, ensuring the right level of contingengy is considered to secure business continuity.
• You support your designated co-manufacturers and co-packers through training and guidance, manage complaints, and ensure documentation and certifications are accurate and up to date.

Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in Food Technology or a related field, and bring in-depth expertise in food safety, HACCP and quality systems.
• You have gained initial relevant experience and developed a practical understanding of quality standards within a food production environment, including different production technologies and product groups.
• Analytical thinking and project management are your key strengths.
• You thrive on the shopfloor and get energized by travelling to our partners (20% travel).
• You communicate fluently in English.
