Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a GRC Information Security Officer to support global security operations. The role focuses on governance, risk assessments, and exception tracking within the project framework.

You will conduct risk assessments, follow up on mitigations, and manage security exceptions while ensuring process alignment. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders, strong analytics, and English proficiency, with a hybrid work model in Belgium.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Information Security or GRC-related activities.
• Basic knowledge across multiple security domains and core IT concepts including network security and network segregation.
• Ability to perform risk assessments and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable handling ambiguity in an operational environment.
• Fluent in English.
