The Finance and Control Officer role is with the Financial Mechanism Office (FMO), the secretariat for the EEA and Norway Grants, based in Brussels. You will manage the full financial control cycle, budgeting, reporting, and anti-fraud frameworks, coordinating with Beneficiary States and donor partners.

The position requires a Master’s degree and at least six years in finance-related roles, with strong analytical skills and experience in international organisations.

Qualifications

• Master’s-level university degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in financial management, budgeting, analysis, internal control, monitoring, or reporting.
• 3+ years with financial frameworks, governance, funding schemes, or related mechanisms in government, intergovernmental institutions, or international organisations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the full financial management and control cycle of the Grants and work with programme teams and external stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting, accounting, and cash forecasting; support audit activities and financial closure.
• Develop and maintain financial management and internal control frameworks; contribute to IT systems for grant management.
