Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics professional to join the Outbound Prime Product Logistics Team in Grimbergen. You will plan and execute international shipments, manage key performance metrics, and drive analytics-driven improvements across global logistics networks.

The role requires a strong background in international transport, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on reducing transit times, costs, and emissions within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of international transportation experience.
• Strong interest in logistics, network design, and transportation solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Lean or Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
• Affinity with analytics and BI; experience with Power BI, Salesforce, and Blue Yonder.
• Strong communication and relationship management; English proficiency; additional languages a plus.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and execution of international transportation for finished products from EAME production locations to dealers and customers globally.
• Own key operational performance metrics including velocity, cost, data quality, and CO2 emissions.
• Act as regional super user for Analytics and Blue Yonder and connected system infrastructure.
• Use systems, BI dashboards, and stakeholder insights to identify and drive improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across the global analytics landscape.
• Plan short- and long-term transportation capacity with plants, supply chain partners, and ocean carriers.
• Build strong relationships with supply chain partners and customers through proactive communication and performance management.
• Develop business knowledge of product and customer requirements, documenting processes to support standardization and continuous improvement.
