Umicore is seeking a Transport Project Manager to lead large, strategic transportation projects across sites and business units, driving standardization and compliance in a future‑proof transport organization.

You will join the Transport & Trade Compliance team, report to the Head of Transport, and empower cross‑functional teams with training, governance, and data‑driven decision making to deliver on the expanding enterprise mandate.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 5 years in transport or supply chain.
• Experience in organizational design, operating model development, or functional transformation.
• Proven end-to-end project management of complex supply chain or transport projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, mentoring and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Take full ownership of project planning, execution and governance.
• Develop and optimize the transportation organization model and operating structures.
• Steer cross-functional project teams and harmonize procedures and governance.
• Promote digitalization and data-driven decision making.
• Build strong stakeholder engagement to secure alignment and decisions.
• Provide training, presentations and targeted advisory support.
• Act as a senior project leader and coach for colleagues involved in transport projects.
