Job summary

Agfa-Gevaert is seeking a Global SAP Process Owner for Order Fulfillment in Mortsel, Belgium. You will oversee end-to-end order fulfillment processes, align business requirements with SAP functionality, and drive transformation across a global SAP landscape.

You will partner with Finance, IT, and Procurement to optimize workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver data-driven improvements. This hybrid role reports to the Director of Operational Excellence & Analytics.

Position Overview / Summary:

• As the Global SAP Process Owner, Order Fulfillment, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, implementing, measuring, and continuously improving global order fulfillment processes. Working closely with business stakeholders and external IT partners, you will ensure that processes are effectively integrated into our global SAP landscape and support business transformation, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in optimizing end-to-end workflows, driving standardization and automation initiatives, and ensuring that our order fulfillment processes remain scalable, compliant, and efficient. This position reports to the Director of Operational Excellence & Analytics.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

You will be responsible for:

1) Customer Operations Governance & Continuous Improvement:

• Designing and implementing streamlined future-state processes and standardized operating procedures.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, simplification, automation, and standardization across the order fulfillment lifecycle.
• Establishing, monitoring, and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) and process metrics to measure operational performance and business value.
• Ensuring processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management guidelines.
• Driving operational excellence initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Developing and enhancing operational reporting and process insights to support data-driven decision making.

2) SAP tool ownership & Transformation:

• Acting as the primary business owner for Order Fulfillment-related SAP processes and solutions.
• Serving as the liaison between business teams, IT, and external consultants to align business requirements with standard and custom SAP functionality.
• Leading global transformation initiatives, including e-invoicing deployment, SAP enhancements, and future S/4HANA migration projects.
• Translating business requirements into system and process solutions.
• Defining priorities for change requests, enhancements, and project initiatives.
• Facilitating process analysis, solution design, and business decision making.
• Coordinating testing activities and validating system changes before deployment.
• Managing implementation activities and driving user adoption through effective change management.
• Monitoring industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and assessing their relevance to Agfa HealthCare.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You will work closely with teams across Finance, Purchasing, IT, and other Business Process Management functions to ensure seamless end-to-end process execution.

This includes supporting initiatives such as Vendor Management, Customer contract management, Licensing Management.

Who You Are (Qualifications):

• Masters’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in business process management, operational excellence, or order fulfillment operations .
• Advanced knowledge of SAP modules (SD, PS, MM) in SAP EEC environment
• Familiarity with S/4 HANA is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Strong communication skills in English
• Process improvement & problem solving mindset
• Proven ability to influence and drive change across functions without direct authority.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a global environment.
