Job summary

Vlerick Business School is seeking a PR & Communications Specialist to shape our press and public relations strategy and bring our brand storytelling to life. The role involves writing press releases, managing external PR partners, and creating impactful brand content across channels.

You will collaborate with the Central Marketing team at our Brussels and Ghent campuses, with a hybrid working model including home office.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in press & PR strategy, planning and implementation.
5+ years of relevant experience in brand storytelling and copywriting.
Excellent written and verbal knowledge of English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the international press and public relations strategy and activity plan.
Write and distribute all press releases at the school level.
Manage relationships with external PR suppliers and media monitoring vendors.
Collaborate with content marketing and social media to amplify PR content across channels.
Build and maintain relationships with internal faculty and media contacts to promote initiatives.
Track effectiveness of PR activities and report impact.
Stay updated on PR and brand storytelling best practices.
Report to the Head of Marketing within Central Marketing.
