Job summary

BESIX Group is seeking a communications intern in Belgium to join the Group Communications Department and gain hands-on experience across Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Media Relations, Event Management, Brand Management and Sponsorship.

You will support campaign prep, content creation, event organization and media monitoring, while developing strong writing, editing and stakeholder collaboration skills in a dynamic corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French or Dutch and fluent English.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of design software (Photoshop, InDesign) is a plus.
• Internship period must be at least 3 months full-time; please mention your internship period in your application.

Responsibilities

• Support the Communications team in the preparation and execution of communication campaigns.
• Write and edit content for internal and external channels.
• Assist in organizing corporate events, meetings and employee engagement activities.
• Contribute to presentations, communication materials and reports.
• Support media monitoring and press review preparations.
• Assist in maintaining and strengthening the brand image across platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective communication.
