Forvis Mazars in Belgium is seeking an intern to join the Global Mobility Services team in Ghent. You will work with senior consultants on international employment structures, income tax, social security, and immigration compliance.

This internship offers hands-on experience in Belgian payroll, tax returns for residents and non-residents, and exposure to share-related compensation analysis. You will collaborate with payroll and labour law teams, and receive a daily allowance along with transport

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's student in Law, Economics, Taxation, or related field.
• Fluency in Dutch or French and English is required.
• Client focused with excellent communication and pragmatic problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Support research on international employment structures and their implementation.
• Assist with personal income tax, social security and immigration compliance under supervision.
• Contribute to Belgian income tax returns for residents and non-residents and assist payroll documents.
• Help gather and analyze share-related compensation data for payroll processing.
• Support salary package analyses and Belgian tax regime for inpatriates.
• Monitor tax, social security, and immigration legislation updates and summarize for internal use.
• Collaborate with payroll and labour law teams by preparing background information.
