Job summary

EUROCONTROL invites aspiring professionals to join the Skyline Traineeship in IT & Digital Innovation, starting Spring 2027. You will work within a diverse, international team on digital transformation, IT solutions, data management and cyber security in the aviation sector.

This traineeship offers hands-on experience, regular feedback, and exposure to multiple EU sites as part of a structured programme designed to bridge academia and professional practice.

Qualifications

• Strong problem solving and communication abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a multinational environment.
• Basic knowledge of programming concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and automating processes to enhance data management, analysis, and efficiency.
• Assessing existing tools and technologies and suggesting improvements for scalability and architecture.
• Reviewing software specs, designing and executing tests to ensure functionality, usability and security.
• Contributing to data analytics and visualization development, supporting validation, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Leveraging modern platforms to propose solutions and create prototypes demonstrating process improvements.
• Supporting digital transformation initiatives through new tech adoption, training, and stakeholder engagement.
