Environmental Defense Fund seeks an Institutional Partnerships Officer to join the Global Development Department. You will partner with senior staff to solicit, steward, and support a portfolio of foundation and public funders that advance EDF's worldwide mission.

You will work with distributed teams, manage complex budgets, and help shape cultivation strategies for long-term impact. Based in Belgium with 10-15% travel, you will interact with donors and internal teams to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six years nonprofit fundraising experience preferred.
• Experience identifying, securing and managing public funding is a strong advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of donor requirements in institutional funding.
• Experience with donor management software such as Salesforce.

Responsabilités

• Solicit and steward 6-8 figure awards from institutional funders.
• Develop knowledge of EDF programs to represent them effectively in communications.
• Coordinate with Global Development, Mission, Finance and other teams.
• Contribute to cultivation strategies and tools for prospects.
• Delegate and oversee work of support staff as appropriate.
• Support EDF cultural and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
