Job summary

EY Belgium is seeking an intern to join the Immigration team to support cross-border employment matters for expats. You will assist in client communications, help prepare work permits, visas and residence files, and follow up with authorities.

You will learn to assess files and guide clients through Belgian immigration processes. The role offers exposure to international assignments, flexible working arrangements, onboarding and coaching, and a clear path to develop expertise within a global

Qualifications

• Fluent English in written and spoken form.
• Ability to communicate with authorities and clients.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Team oriented with a client-minded approach.
• Interest in Belgian labour migration law and European mobility rules.

Responsibilities

• Support client team in communicating with expats, authorities and stakeholders.
• Advise clients on immigration routes and business impact.
• Assist in preparing and following up work permit, visa, residence permit files.
• Learn to assess files and guide clients through Belgian immigration processes.
• Contribute to knowledge management and track legislative changes.
