Job summary

MSF Belgium is seeking an HVAC & Cold Chain Mobile Implementation Advisor in Brussels. You will provide first-line and second-line support for HVAC and Cold Chain systems, ensuring safe, efficient temperature control and air quality in health facilities and medical warehouses.

You will coordinate with the Energy & HVAC Team Leader, design and implement improvements, and contribute to staff training across MSF projects, including international deployments.

Qualifications

• Technical education in refrigeration, energy or HVAC fields.
• Minimum 2 years HVAC experience, with at least 1 year in a related role.
• Experience in coaching/training staff is a plus.
• Certificates in technical maintenance are an asset.
• Experience in health facilities or in developing countries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized 1st line support for HVAC & Cold Chain in MSF projects.
• Support design, installation, use, maintenance, and decommissioning of HVAC and Cold Chain systems.
• Evaluate setups and implement MSF protocols and tools for HVAC and Cold Chain.
• Develop competencies through targeted training content for project focal points.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers to ensure optimal HVAC/Cold Chain performance.
• Provide specialized 2nd line support to address technical issues across electrical or water supply, infrastructure, and infection control.
