Job summary

Qargo is seeking an Events Manager in Ghent to own the events programme from A to Z, handling 50+ events per year across Europe, the UK and the US. You will lead planning, budgeting, vendor management, and on-site execution with autonomy.

You will coach two regional Events Coordinators, collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, and travel regularly to ensure a consistent, scalable approach. Fluent French and English are required, and experience in B2B SaaS or logistics is a plus.

Qualifications

End-to-end experience in event management in a B2B environment.
Comfortable managing a high volume of events and multiple priorities.
Experience working across multiple regions and markets.
Willing and able to travel regularly.
Experience coaching/leading a team member.
Strong project management, organisation and stakeholder management.
Proactive and comfortable taking ownership and making decisions independently.
Fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

Own Qargo's annual events programme across Europe, the UK and US, coordinating 50+ events per year.
Build and grow Qargo's events presence in France with the Sales team.
Own events end-to-end: planning, budgeting, supplier management and ROI.
Lead on-event execution and travel across Europe and beyond.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and tech partners on promoting events and activations.
Lead and coach the Events Coordinators for regional alignment.
Track budgets and ROI, ensure data capture in HubSpot and report results.
