Job summary

UCB in Belgium is seeking a Global Electrical & Security Expert to lead worldwide standards for electrical systems and physical security. You will shape global strategies across engineering projects and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations, cGxP, safety and sustainability while guiding site-wide standardisation.

Fluent English and French required; Master’s in a related technical field and 10+ years of information security and engineering leadership.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline.
Minimum 10 years in information security with EU directives exposure.
ISO 27001:2022 Lead Implementer/Auditor or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems.
Proven leadership of international projects and diverse teams.

Responsibilities

Define and implement global strategies for electrical systems, security, and maintenance.
Develop technical standards integrating regulations, safety, sustainability and business needs.
Guide feasibility studies, conceptual designs and solution selection for new projects.
Monitor standards implementation and provide technical support across sites worldwide.
Support technical assessments and continuous improvement initiatives in Physical Asset Management.
Identify emerging technologies and drive lifecycle innovations for reliability and safety.
