Job summary

AB InBev is seeking a Global Consumer Science Specialist at the GITEC center in Leuven, Belgium. You will design and execute consumer learning plans across six geographic zones, translating insights into briefs for product and packaging innovations that drive top-line growth.

The role involves drafting research plans, coordinating with data scientists, supervising agencies, and guiding Zones S&CS Specialists on toolkit usage. MSc/PhD in relevant fields and 5–7 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Consumer behavior, Psychology, Food Science, Physiology, Nutrition, Applied Statistics or Data Science.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Sensory & Consumer Science or Consumer Research is expected.
• Proficiency in data collection and analytics software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and execute research plans covering qualitative and quantitative methods for product testing, claims testing, MVPs, prototypes, tasting and concept refinement.
• Supervise external agencies and coordinate with internal teams including data scientists; translate results into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Track competitive intelligence for top markets and evaluate category expansion strategies and taste segments across regions.
• Consolidate insights and share patterns to accelerate Innovation projects and support cross-zone collaboration.
• Manage trainees and partner agency relationships; train Zones S&CS Specialists on toolkits and data collection.
