prado is building invisible home technology and seeks a certification engineer to ensure products meet global safety and performance standards. You will support from innovation to compliance, coordinating tests, documentation, and regulatory alignment.

You will collaborate with R&D to embed compliance early, perform hands-on lab work (EMC, photometric), and maintain certification records while tracking evolving norms (LVD, EMC, RoHS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics or related fields.
• Solid understanding of certification standards and processes, or strong drive to become an expert.
• Hands-on testing, technical documentation, and compliance experience.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
• Fascination with AI and openness to experimentation.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Independent, detail-oriented team player with proactive mindset.

Responsabilités

• Manage certification processes from A to Z (CE, ENEC, CB, UL).
• Collaborate with R&D to embed compliance early in design.
• Conduct hands-on testing and measurements in labs (EMC, photometric).
• Stay informed about changes in norms and regulations (LVD, EMC, RoHS, ECO design).
• Ensure up-to-date documentation and communicate findings clearly.
• Build and maintain relationships with international certification bodies.
• Work within a growing, multidisciplinary team.
