Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Excellence Manager in Brussels to lead the deployment of a rigorous PM framework for a multi‑billion euro biomanufacturing program. The role spans governance, quality assurance, and project control across the execution phase and requires extensive cross-functional collaboration.

Travel internationally may be required; fluency in English is essential. Start ASAP with a 6‑month duration, onsite work, and possibilities for permanent or freelance

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience in project management for large-scale capital projects (>€200M) in pharma/biotech.
• Proficient in P6/OPC, Unifier, and SAP PS/WBS.
• Expert in data visualization/reporting with Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of PMI, Prince2, AACE, and Stage-Gate governance.
• Proven ability to design processes and assess project maturity under tight timelines.
• Excellent stakeholder management; able to influence cross-functional teams.
• Willing to travel internationally; fluent in English.

• Adapt corporate project management standards for large capital manufacturing programs using industry best practices.
• Manage the Stage-Gate validation process including readiness checklists and deliverable maturity assessments for steering committee decisions.
• Develop and update Program and Project Execution Plans to align with engineering and execution strategies.
• Implement project control systems and KPIs focused on cost, schedule, risk, and safety.
• Oversee deployment of technical tools including project scheduling software, cost management systems, and data dashboards.
• Design end-to-end project processes for risk management, change workflows, and scheduling standards.
