Job summary

stow is seeking a Global CAD Design Manager to plan, lead and develop the worldwide CAD function. You will be the technical and strategic reference for CAD activities, ensuring efficient, high‑quality drawing production aligned with QSHE standards.

You will drive standardisation, automation and a long‑term vision across the organization. You will manage resources, ensure delivery quality, coach CAD leaders, and collaborate with engineering, project, sales and system integration teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in CAD engineering within an industrial/project-based environment.
• Proven leadership experience managing CAD teams or competence centers.
• Deep expertise in AutoCAD; exposure to 3D and parametric design is essential.
• Strong process mindset with a passion for automation and efficiency.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels.
• International mindset; fluent in English; additional languages like Dutch, Polish, Portuguese are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and structure the CAD organization at global level.
• Allocate CAD resources according to project priorities and workload.
• Ensure efficiency, delivery quality and consistency across teams.
• Coach and support CAD team leaders and designers.
• Occasional international travel (~10%).
• Act as Global Technical Lead for CAD tools and methodologies.
• Define and own the long-term CAD roadmap: transition towards 3D and parametric design, increased automation of drawing production.
• Structure and govern the three CAD pillars: commercial, assembly, and installation drawings.
