Job summary

UCB is seeking an Asset Management Excellence Lead in Brussels, Belgium, to define and govern IT asset and configuration data globally within the Service Excellence team. You will drive asset lifecycle standards, CMDB accuracy, and ServiceNow integrations, collaborating with cybersecurity, compliance, procurement and external partners.

This hybrid role reports to the Head of Global IT Infrastructure and Services, with 40% office time in Brussels and strong emphasis on process maturity,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Strong ITIL knowledge with hands-on service management process experience.
• Minimum of five years in IT asset/configuration or service management.
• Hands-on ServiceNow experience; involvement in deployments or transformations is a plus.
• Ability to lead through expertise and engagement without direct reporting authority.
• Experience with external providers and distributed teams; regulated environments and data-driven approach.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern global IT asset and configuration management using ITIL.
• Own end-to-end asset lifecycle standards from requests to decommissioning.
• Champion the CMDB accuracy and data relationships across systems.
• Translate needs into ServiceNow requirements with platform teams and partners.
• Establish policies and reporting for quality, cybersecurity, audits, and traceability.
• Define KPIs and drive improvements in maturity, automation, and data quality.
• Build relationships with UCB and external providers to enforce processes.
