Job summary

UCB S.A. in Brussels seeks an Asset Management Excellence Lead to define and govern how we manage IT assets and configuration data globally. You will transform operating models toward service and process management and build asset management capabilities within a newly created Service Excellence team.

This individual contributor role focuses on process ownership, governance and stakeholder engagement, with strong ServiceNow expertise and regulatory considerations guiding impactful decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL and service management processes.
• At least five years in IT asset management or configuration management.
• Practical asset management experience using ServiceNow; transformation experience is a plus.
• Lead through expertise, structure and engagement without direct reporting authority.
• Experience with external providers and geographically distributed teams.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, establish and improve global IT asset and configuration management processes using ITIL.
• Own standards covering the complete asset lifecycle from requests to decommissioning.
• Champion the CMDB to ensure accurate, complete asset records and relationships.
• Translate needs into ServiceNow requirements; collaborate on integrations and controls.
• Establish policies and reporting for regulatory compliance, audit readiness and traceability.
• Define and monitor KPIs; drive improvements in maturity, automation and data quality.
• Foster relationships with asset owners and external providers to maintain compliant information.
