Job summary

BMW Group Belux is looking for an experienced GL Accounting Specialist to strengthen the finance team in Belgium. You will ensure accurate monthly closes, manage P2P cycles, and support audits while aligning with BMW policies and regulatory requirements.

You bring a Bachelor's in accounting, 3–5 years of experience, SAP (S/4HANA a plus), and strong Dutch, French, and English communication. The role offers an international environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• SAP experience; SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and reporting tool skills.
• Analytical mindset with detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent Dutch, French, and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial statements under Belgian GAAP and IFRS.
• Record financial transactions and process P2P (invoices, payments, PO/PR).
• Reconcile GL, AP, AR, bank accounts; resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and review payment files; back up AP/AR colleagues.
• Support audits with documentation and BMW policies compliance.
• Assist tax activities, including VAT and other filings.
• Drive process improvements and assist with system testing and banking liaison.
