Michael Page International (Belgium) is seeking a GL Accountant to handle daily accounting in AP, AR and GL, ensure data accuracy, and manage month-end closings for multiple BE entities. The role emphasizes BEGAAP, GEGAAP and IFRS compliance, financial reporting to group, VAT declarations and support for external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit or financial reporting.
• Fluent Dutch or French; knowledge of German and English is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Daily accounting entries in AP, AR and GL.
• Ensure accuracy of all data.
• Reconciliation of accounts.
• Monthly and annual closings for multiple BE entities.
• Preparation and analysis of cash flow.
• Preparation of the financial statements.
• Ensuring compliance with BEGAAP, GEGAAP and IFRS.
• Financial reporting to group.
• VAT-declaration and Intrastat reporting.
• Assisting with external audits and internal controls.
• Supporting process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Acting as a point of contact within the finance team.
