PRÆSIDIAD is seeking a GL Accountant / Financial Controller for Belgium to manage end-to-end ledger activities and statutory reporting. The role is based at Betafence offices in Zwevegem, West Flanders, and reports to the Europe Finance controller with SSC interaction.

You will own GL accounting, month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, VAT compliance, and statutory reporting under Belgian GAAP, aligning with Group standards and controls.

Qualifications

• Strong GL / Financial Controlling background in an SSC or hybrid model.
• Solid understanding of Belgian GAAP, VAT, and statutory compliance.
• Experience with OneStream and major ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch are desirable.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end general ledger accounting for the Belgian entity.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close per group calendars.
• Review AP/AR postings and reconciliations; coordinate with SSC.
• Manage statutory accounting, Belgian GAAP disclosures, and annual accounts.
• Coordinate tax provisions and VAT compliance with SSC support.
• Prepare statutory statements and reports for banks and regulators.
• Support audits and act as Belgian contact for auditors and tax advisors.
